How blow molding works
The process is based on the introduction of compressed air inside a preheated plastic cylinder, inserted into a hollow mold. The air inflates the plastic material until it adheres perfectly to the walls of the mold, reproducing its internal shape.
After controlled cooling, the mold is opened and the finished piece is extracted, ready for any subsequent stages.
